In light of the local state of emergency declared for the Manawatū and surrounding districts, we are currently assessing the situation to ensure the safety of our school community.

Current Status
At this stage, we intend to remain open for instruction tomorrow, Monday, 16 February. However, we are closely monitoring Civil Defence advice regarding non-essential travel.

Key Information
Final Confirmation: A final decision to either remain open or close will be sent out to all families by 7:15 am tomorrow morning. Please check Skool Loop, Hero and our Facebook page then.

Buses: We have received confirmation that Longburn (LAC) buses will not be running tomorrow.

Safety First: We understand that travel conditions may vary across the region. If we remain open but you feel it is unsafe to travel from your specific location, please prioritize your safety and stay home (and let us know).

We are following the Ministry of Education and Civil Defence updates closely and will provide further information as soon as possible.
